We are looking for a Barista who would be responsible for the creation of Coffee Bound Drinks while following the set drink recipe and vision of the company, you would be able to educate the customer on our drink menu and make recommendations based on customer preference, up-selling specials and taking orders.
To Rock in this role, you must have, awesome customer service skills always, and knowledge of the menu. We are looking for someone who has a desire to work in a collaborative, fun, and team environment, you must be available for various shifts including weekends.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers as they enter
- Answer customer's questions regarding ingredients
- Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee hot, iced, blended, dairy, and sugar ratios)
- Prepare beverages following recipes
- Serve beverages and prepared food
- Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
- Keep the bar area clean
- Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
- Comply with health and safety regulations
- Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items

Tasks & Responsibilities
- Adhering to all employment policies and laws applicable to the Barista position
- Fulfill customer orders accurately
- Make all drinks to Coffee Bound standards
- Handle all comments, concerns, and questions while on shift
- Greet and acknowledge all customers immediately with a smile
- Repeat the customer's order back to them and relay orders to co-workers to ensure accuracy
- Engage in genuine conversation with the customer

- The bottom layer must be nice pants or shorts
- No ragged, wrinkled, or dirty clothing can be worn
- No buttock, cleavage, belly buttons, or undergarments may be visible
- Employees must have clean fingernails and brushed teeth
- Communicate any problems deserving attention to the shop manager
- Maintain a clean and orderly working environment; adhere to the cleaning checklist.
Skills
- Prior experience as a barista is admired, but not required
- An outgoing personality with good verbal communication
- Ability to gauge customers’ preferences
- Flexibility to work various shifts / Hours
- Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations
- Basic math skills
- Exhibit good manners, neat appearance, and proper personal hygiene
Physical Requirements
- Constant standing/walking, up to 8 hours at a time
